A new statewide public awareness campaign has been launched in order to help the public better understand Tennessee's new and higher standards. This was in response to a fear that parents wouldn't understand the state's tougher academic standards and the lower test scores that may initally occur.
The campaign is called "Expect More...Achieve More." Click on the picture above to go to a website with information and materials about this campaign. The website is www.expectmoretn.com. The website contains information that can help explain Tennessee's standards to parents.
Keep in mind that a key requirement under No Child Left Behind is that parents understand the curriculum being taught to their children. The tools on this website can help you with that information.
